Synopsis

On a rainy night, a stray black kitten is taken in by a young girl named Luo Xiaobai and she named the kitten Luo Xiaohei. Xiaohei is no ordinary cat; he is remarkably intelligent—using the toilet and refusing cat food—and possesses a long tail capable of splitting into mysterious, small creatures known as "Heixiu." Meanwhile, a mysterious figure named Diting dispatches three wolves—capable of shapeshifting into birds—to track Xiaohei down. Soon after, Xiaobai takes Xiaohei to the countryside to visit her cousin A Gen and her grandfather, setting the stage for a series of bizarre and fantastical events.
